Play’n Go is expanding its presence in Great Britain’s land-based casino market following a successful six-month trial with Genting.
During the trial, the company’s Boom Slots cabinets—developed exclusively for Genting—were installed at Resorts World Casino in Birmingham. The cabinets featured 13 of Play’n Go’s most popular titles, including Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead.
After positive results, Genting will now introduce the cabinets across more than 30 of its UK properties, including Genting Stratford, with a full rollout expected to be completed by December.
Johan Törnqvist, CEO and Co-Founder of Play’n Go, said:
“We think there is an opportunity for tens of thousands of cabinets featuring Play’n Go content globally. Genting have been a brilliant partner throughout this project and we’re looking forward to working closely with their fantastic teams to build on this initial UK-facing rollout to ensure it's a success.”
Stuart Armstrong, Product Director at Genting, added:
“We know from our trial period that Play’n Go’s well-known online casino content is attractive to players in land-based spaces too, and we can’t wait to roll this out to all of our UK properties soon.”
